The 2016 Blue Chip Classic will be a USSSA Baseball State Qualifying Event. All age group Champions will receive a free entry to the State Tournament !!! This event will count toward your 2016 required 2 event minimum if you plan to play in the USSSA Baseball State Tournament on June 9 -12 in Columbus. This is the 14th year of hosting this event and it has sold out in past years including 2014 with over 70 teams from Ohio, Ky, WVa, Pa, Mi, NY, and Canada, attending on an annual basis. Team Sports hosts the Top events in Ohio by attracting a great field of teams, playing at quality facilities, providing timely communication, and having the best umpires in youth baseball. All Umpires are sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School -- if you've played in our tournaments you know what I mean.
This Tournament is for teams of all competitive levels as teams will be bracketed according to skill level and USSSA Classification. Games will be played at Victory Park in North Ridgeville -- a State of the art eight field complex in the western suburbs of Cleveland as well as fields in the Elyria / Lorain.
There will be a 3 game minimum with half the teams playing 4 to 5 games.
Team and Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place.
