The Battle in The ( 330 ) is our most heavily attended event of the Summer Season. This is the tournament's 16th year. In 2015 we had over 100 teams participate in this tournament and we have sold out each of the last 10 years. The host sites are Quality Baseball Complexes, College and High School Fields. As with all Team Sports events the tournament will be well organized with timely communication, and have the top umpires in youth baseball.
The 9u - 14u age groups will have a 3 game minimum with half the teams playing 4 or more games. Games will start on Friday evening and be played in the Akron / Barberton area -- First Energy / Patterson Park Baseball Complex -- JEDD Park -- Barberton's Foundation Fields Butler Rodman Park. The 14u teams will play on Local High School Fields.
The 15u - 18u age groups will have a 4 game minimum with many teams playing 5 or 6 games.Depending on the amount of entries games may begin Thursday June 8 at 4pm - teams from out of town will be given consideration for later starts on Friday. Games will be played in Akron / Canton / Cleveland area at College Fields, and Top high school facilities. The highlight fields are - Mt Union University, Malone College, Walsh College ,Jackson HS's new turf facility, the beautiful field at Canton Central Cathlolic HS, Hawken HS's turf field and Massillon HS to name a few.
The entry fee covers the umpire fees, teams will provide 1 new and 1 used game ball to start each game - those will be returned at completion of the game.
