The North Coast Elite is in its 6th year and last year took a major leap last year in entries as we added 9u – 13u ages to the Tournament and ended up selling out in most age groups. The reputation we at Team Sports Tournaments have gained over the past 11 years has allowed us to attract the top teams in all ages and all divisions. This event was a huge success last year and we expect the same in 2014. As with all Team Sports Events the Tournament will be well organized with timely communication, be played at quality facilities, and have the top umpires in youth baseball, sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School. The 9u - 13u teams will play a 3 game minimum. Teams will pay umpires on the field ( $30 per team per game for ages 9u and 10u and $45 per team per game for age groups 11u - 13u and supply 1 new and 1 used baseball to start each game - balls will be returned after the game. These games will be played in Barberton @ the beautiful Foundation Field complex and in Akron @ Cascade Valley Park and JEDD Park. The 14u 60/90 age group will have a 3 game minimum -- the 15u - 18u teams will play a 4 game minimum. The entry fee covers the umpire fees. Teams will supply game balls -- they will be returned after the game. Host sites for these games will be in the Akron / Canton area at Akron University, Mt Union University, and Thurman Munson Stadium along with many other top notch high school facilities -- Stow HS, Walsh Jesuit HS, Woodridge HS, Barberton HS, Jackson HS, St Thomas Aquinas HS and Firestone HS to name a few. Team and Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place. Note - Teams planning to use local hotel accommodations for this event must book through Absolut Team Travel - no exceptions.
