This is the Tournament's 12th year and is again a Nations Baseball State Qualifying Event. This Tournament's continued popularity has made it one of the Top State Qualifiers in the area - a must play event that continues to sell out year after year with over 80 teams attending last year. This event will count toward the mandated 2 Tournament minimum required to qualify for the Nations Baseball State Tournament on June 12-15. Teams must be sanctioned with Nations Baseball -- go to www.nations-baseball.com to register. The registration fee is $50 - once registered teams will need to enter their roster and upload their insurance page to web site. As with all Team Sports events you will play on Quality Fields, with Timely Communication, Great Organization, and you will have the Top Umpires in youth baseball sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School. There will be a 3 game minimum and Games will be played in Barberton @ the Beautiful Foundation Fields Complex - 4 lighted fields, built in dugouts, and crushed brick infields – and also in Akron @ First Energy / Patterson Park Baseball Complex and Cascade Valley Park in Akron ( 3 lighted fields ). These complexes have concession stands and walk in bathrooms. 14u 60/90 games will be played on high school fields. In addition to the entry fee teams will pay umpires on the field --- ( 8u -10u - $30 per team per game and 11u - 14u - $45 per team per game ) -- teams will also supply 1 new and 1 used baseball per game. There will be a 3 game minimum and this Tournament is for teams of all competitive levels as teams will bracketed according to skill level. Large Team and individual awards for 1st and 2nd place.
