| Tournament Description | This is the 15u & 17U / 18u Nations Baseball Ohio State Championship & Midwest Regional Championship. The Tournament will break down into two separate categories at each age group. The first will be the Ohio State Championship. This division will consist of teams in the 'Select' and 'Elite' divisions. The second will be the Midwest Regional Championship. This will consist of teams in the 'Premier' division and all teams from out of state. Teams registered as Select or Elite may play up, but teams registered as Premier and from out of state may not play down. All teams must be registered with Nations Baseball and have their roster and team insurance entered on line at www.nations-baseball.com before the start of the Tournament. Registration fee is $45 and can be paid on line at the Nations Web Site. The Tournament will start on Thursday morning and all teams will have a 4 game minimum. Pool Play will be Thursday and Friday followed by Championship and Consolation Rounds on Saturday and Sunday. Host sites are Thurman Munson Stadium in Canton, Akron University in Akron and Kent State University in Kent ( Thurs only ) . The other locations will be top high school fileds in the Akron / Canton area -- Stow HS, Walsh Jesuit HS, Barberton HS, Firestone HS, and possibly Jackson HS, Perry HS, and Canton South HS. Individual and Team awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division. |
