| Tournament Description | The North Coast Classic is back. After a year away due to scheduling conflicts in 2011 we bring this event back for our 2012 schedule and put it in the 2nd July 4th Weekend slot. The 11u - 14u teams will play a 3 game minimum. Teams will pay umpires on the fields ( $45 per team per game ) and supply 1 new and 1 used baseball to start each game - balls will be returned after the game. These games will be played in Barberton @ the Foundation Fields complex and in Akron @ Cascade Valley Park as well as Keyer Park in Cuyahoga Falls. The 14u 60/90 - 18u teams will play a 4 game minimum. The entry fee covers the umpire fees. Teams will supply game balls -- they will be returned after the game. These games will be played in the Akron / Canton / Kent area at two beautiful facilites - Kent State University and Thurman Munson Stadium along with many other top notch high school facilities -- Stow HS, Walsh Jesuit HS, Firestone HS, Barberton HS, Jackson HS to name a few. Team and Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place. |
