| Tournament Description | Welcome to the 10th Annual Scarlet & Grey Series. This event is an annual Showcase for teams to get prepared for the July 4th weekend and upcoming League Tournament Play and World Series events. This Tournament is advised for teams of all competitive levels as teams are bracketed according to skill level. Teams will receive a 3 game minimum. Games will be played at Kent State University's Allerton Complex and JEDD Park in Akron. Both facilities have concession stands and walk in bathrooms -- Allerton has 4 lighted fields and JEDD Park is great facility for the younger age groups with 3 smaller diamonds - fences at 225' to 230'. In addition to the entry fee teams will pay umpires on field ( 9u - 10u $30 per team per game ) and ( 11u - 14u $45 per team per game ) --- teams will also supply one new and one used baseball per game - baseballs will be returned after the game. Team and Indivdual awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place. |
