| Tournament Description | Team Sports Labor Day Classic. - a great event to get your Fall Season under way. All ages have a 3 game minimum - pool games will start on Saturday morning with Championship games on Sunday and possibly Monday depending on the number of teams entered per age group. As with all Team Sports events the tournament will be well organized with timely communication, be played at quality facilities, and have the top umpires in youth baseball, sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School. Umpire fees are covered with your entry fee. Teams will supply 1 new and 1 used baseball for each game - they will be returned after the game. Teams can play in their 2013 age group or play up if they so desire - your 2013 age applies for this event. Ages 9u - 13u will play at First Energy / Patterson Park Baseball Complex in Akron. Ages 14u 60/90 - 18u will play at local high school fields as well as Summit Lake Park and Erie Island Baseball Complex in Akron. The Championship Games will be at Thurman Munson Stadium on Monday. Team and Individual trophies for 1st and 2nd place . |
